Cybersecurity has become an essential focus within undergraduate computer science programs, with BS-level courses now structured to build a strong foundation in securing digital systems and data. Students are typically introduced to core topics such as computer networks, operating systems, and cryptography, followed by advanced subjects like ethical hacking, intrusion detection, digital forensics, malware analysis, and secure software development.
