Mission

To prepare competent, creative, and ethical laboratory professionals with leadership qualities who contribute to quality diagnostics, research, and community health in alignment with the mission of the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

Program Educational Objectives (PEOs)
  1. Clinical Proficiency: Graduates will demonstrate competence in performing medical laboratory procedures, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and ensuring quality and safety in diagnostic services.
  2. Patient-Centered Care: Graduates will apply knowledge and skills in laboratory sciences to support accurate diagnosis, monitoring, and management of diseases, contributing to evidence-based patient care.
  3. Professionalism & Ethics: Graduates will exhibit ethical practice, effective communication, teamwork, and cultural sensitivity in clinical laboratory and healthcare settings.

  2. Knowledge Application: Apply principles of biomedical sciences, laboratory technology, and disease pathophysiology to ensure accurate and reliable diagnostic testing.
  3. Clinical Decision-Making: Utilize evidence-based laboratory practices to support diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment planning in patient care.
