Syllabus: Vocabulary building, grammar (subject-verb agreement, tenses), sentence structure, reading strategies, professional writing (emails, reports), public speaking.

GEC-512: Science of Global Challenges (3 Credit Hours)

Description: Climate change, energy crisis, natural disasters, sustainable resource management – scientific principles and real-world solutions.

Outcomes: Explain climate science, differentiate renewable/non‑renewable systems, understand disaster management, make informed resource decisions.

Topics: Greenhouse effect, ocean currents, renewable energy (solar, wind, hydro), disaster risk reduction, water resources of Pakistan.


GEC-513: Islamic Studies (2 Credit Hours)

Description: Foundational beliefs, practices, history, Islamic law, contemporary issues, and contributions of Muslim civilization.
