Program Objectives

The BS Mass Communication program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of media and communication. The core objectives include:

Professional Skills To equip students with essential skills in news reporting, writing, editing, and photojournalism across various media platforms.
Theoretical Foundation To provide a strong foundation in communication theories, media history, and the social role of mass media in Pakistan and globally.
Digital & Technological Mastery To develop proficiency in using modern information and communication technologies, digital photography, and visual storytelling.
Ethical Journalism To foster an understanding of the legal and ethical responsibilities of media professionals, including copyright, privacy, and fair use.
