Strengthening Pathways for Future Opportunities!

Vice Chancellor, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Prof. Nasir Jamal Khattak, underscored the importance of soil health for food security and sustainable development while addressing the inaugural session of the 21st International Congress of Soil Science at the University of Poonch Rawalakot as Guest of Honour.
Speaking on the theme “Soil Resilience for Sustainable Development,” he highlighted the need for restoring soil vitality to combat climate change, enhance agricultural productivity, and protect ecosystems. He appreciated the joint efforts of the Soil Science Society of Pakistan and the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Poonch, Rawalakot for organizing this important academic forum.
Former Vice Chancellor UAJK, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kaleem Abbasi, also attended the conference.
