Personal Details
I started my research career from Pakistan Medical Research Council(PMRC), as a Research Officer (BPS-17) after completion of MPhil from Quaid-i-Azam University Islamabad. I served PMRC w.e.f. 23rd November 2004 to December 2009. I joined University of AZad Jammu and Kashmir Muzaffarabad in December 2009 as a lecturer. I won Chinese Govt Scholarship for PhD and got admission in the school of Life Sciences and Biotechnology, Bio-X Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Shanghai China. I completed my PhD under the supervision of distinguished professot Yongyong Shi. After completion of PhD, I joined Department of Chemistry as Assistant professor w.e.f. 4th July 2016. I am serving as a Associate Professor w.e.f. 28th February 2019 to date. Major responsibilities include teaching different courses related to Biochemistry at BS, MPhil and PhD level students and also provision of mentorship to MSc, MPhil and PhD level students regarding their research projects. I have almost twenty year experience of teaching as well as basic and biomedical research.
