Dr. Rehana Kausar

Dr Rehana Kausar joined department of Botany as Lecturer in September 2004. She completed her PhD in 2015 from Department of Botany, PMAS-AAUR Rawalpindi. She availed IRSIP scholarship of HEC during her PhD and went to Japan for six months to conduct part of her PhD research work in 2011. After joining back, she worked as Director Students Affairs from 2015-17, then she joined as HOD Department of Botany, from October 2017 to March 2022. After completion of her tenure as Chairperson, she got selected for Postdoc Fellowship offered by Islamic Development Bank and now, she is doing Postdoc at Japan. She has successfully supervised 12 MPhil and one PhD student till date.
