The Department of Public Relations at the University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is dedicated to fostering constructive and mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its internal and external stakeholders, while enhancing and safeguarding the institution’s public image.
The Department is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and execution of communication initiatives, events, and outreach activities. It plays a central role in promoting the University’s academic achievements and institutional initiatives aimed at advancing quality higher education.
Through regular engagement with local and national media—across print, electronic, and digital platforms—the Department ensures timely dissemination of information, keeping the public informed about the University’s programmes, events, conferences, seminars, and other significant developments.
In addition, the Department oversees the development and publication of official materials, including newsletters, prospectuses, and annual reports, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and institutional coherence in all communications.
The Department also supervises and facilitates major University events and both on-campus and off-campus engagements, ensuring their effective organisation and professional representation.
